Google Cloud
Google Cloud Platform is the third major public cloud provider and the platform most deeply aligned with AI/ML workloads and data analytics. Google's internal engineering — the same infrastructure that runs Google Search, YouTube, and Gmail — underpins GCP's global fibre backbone (one of the largest private networks on earth) and services like BigQuery (petabyte-scale SQL analytics), Spanner (globally distributed SQL database), and Kubernetes (which Google invented and open-sourced). GKE remains the most mature managed Kubernetes offering. Vertex AI, Gemini model APIs, and TPU access make GCP the preferred cloud for AI-first organisations. Anthos extends GCP's control plane to on-premises and multi-cloud environments with consistent policy management.
