Nokia's Networks division (Bell Labs heritage) is a global tier-1 telecom equipment vendor competing directly with Ericsson and Huawei across the full RAN-to-core stack. Their SR-series IP/MPLS routers (running SR OS) are deployed extensively in service-provider IP core and metro networks. AirScale is their 5G RAN system, supporting both sub-6 GHz and mmWave configurations. Nokia's Fixed Networks division covers GPON, XGS-PON, and vectored DSL access — critical for fibre-to-the-premises deployments globally.
